In June 2011 I met Madeleine Shrimpton and Rosemary Hudson - two talented women who moved in next door and wanted to sing! We lived on the 'Leopold Estate' in Bow, East London which was, at the time, a condemned housing estate - hence the ‘Goodbye’. I started composing music for 3 voices and Goodbye Leopold was born.
During our 4 years together we performed at multiple music and arts festivals in the U.K and Europe, played at the Royal Festival Hall in London and made multiple broadcasts including on: BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 3, Resonance FM and NTS Radio.
Our live session on Radio 3’s The Verb can be heard here
